Aamna Aqeel’s Dazzling Dames delved into the regal pomp, pageantry and sophistication of 18th Century British high society and aristocracy. Dazzling Dames saw the use of structured silhouettes, contoured Basque waistlines, bias cuts, asymmetry and notch and stand-up collars, brought together with finesse by traditional and artisanal embroidery. The colors used throughout the collection were bold-sultry reds, black and claret, that gave a dramatic yet regal and glorious feel to the ensembles. The showstopper for Aamna Aqeel was Kubra Khan.
