Layla Chatoor is one of Pakistan’s best contemporary designers and she excels at formal and bridalwear. With a unique aesthetic of her own, her bridals are feminine and festive with a distinctly modern vibe. Opulently embroidered and impeccably cut, Layla’s new collection reflects her decades of experience in Pakistani fashion and her training in garment construction in London.

Layla uses a variety of heritage techniques including resham embroidery, zardozi and dabka handwork, gota work and beading with pearls and crystals. Pure fabrics such as silk, silk organza and chiffon are hand-dyed and she uses block printing, digital printing and screen printing to great effect. Her silhouettes are lean and flattering, with fusion sensibility that is both contemporary and flattering.
