Arjumand Bano made her PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2018 debut with her Luxury Prét collection “My Head is The Jungle” The collection draws its inspiration from the song, ‘My Head is a Jungle’ by Emma Louise. The collection translates her fondness for this song coupling it with her love for fashion.
Working with rich botanical prints and juxtaposing textures, Bano has played on the vernacular of the song itself. The collection offers a wide range of silhouettes including jumpsuits, dresses, jackets and trenches. The detailing consists of floral motifs, bejeweled animal motifs and three-dimensional embellishments. Furthermore, Bano has also included different accessories into the mix to accentuate the outfits. ‘My head is a Jungle’ encompasses art and the jungle, combining both to tailor wearable pieces of fashion.
