The two day festival aims to promote Pakistani youth talent and encourage creative originality. Expect a wide range of activities at the event as people from the city and beyond come together to showcase their art and performances.

Have a look at the schedule for both days and do try to make it for the performances that interest you. Qawwali night with Amjad Sabri is on Saturday night along with other music performances by Zaryab Sultan and Talha Ahmed.

An afternoon panel discussion on Saturday looks particularly interesting: Maheen Khan, Maliha Rehman and Umair Tabani will come together to speak about pirated designer and lawn prints amidst the recent lawn fever that has engulfed the country.

Throughout the festival, activities like art exhibitions, poetry, storytelling sessions, movie screenings and will continue- so bring your children along too for a fun filled weekend!

The event begins noon and continues on till 8pm at Alliance Francaise.  Saturday night features a ticketed Qawalli Night by YALE – entitled Ye Shaam Mastani while Sunday evening features a Fire Show. There will be sky lanterns at the AF terrace at night- a pretty sight not to be missed!
