Creative Karachi Festival – this weekend at Alliance Française de Karachi

Fun for the whole family

The Second Floor (T2F) is one of the most vibrant artistic forums in the city, encouraging performance art, creative writing and a host of other arts. They have arranged a fabulous festival this weekend at the Alliance Francaise de Karachi in collaboration with the Karachi Accueil Society.

The Creative Karachi Festival is a celebration of the talent and spirit of Karachi’s creative community. The weekend programme features music performances, qavvaali, dramatic readings, art, photography, design, crafts, dance, stargazing, and a host of interactive activities.

Artists, photographers, designers, musicians, poets, comedians, storytellers, dancers, and creatives who defy categorisation, come together for a party in the park. CKF will feature the works of over 50 visual artists.

Feed your mind, body and soul at Creative Karachi this weekend

There will be lots of activities for children including storytelling and puppet shows.  CKF partner, Laila Odho and her team of artists at Saturday Studio will be conducting art activities for children too.

There’s plenty going on for foodies at CFK too. Featured food includes delicious treats made by Shamira Mahpara of Marigold and Honey Cafe,Asad Khawaja of Pakistan Food Forum and Rayyan Durrani top 5 finalist of MasterChef Pakistan. Come meet your favourite cooks, and have them feed you. CKF Partner Simple Dimple, will be serving asian soul food all weekend – Khao Suey, Noodles, Stir-fries and more. CFK partner Hoagies will be serving up their own style of deliciousness.
