Top designers including Feeha Jamshed, Deepak Perwani, Tena Durrani, Zara Shahjahan, Amir Adnan, Jeem by Bank Alfalah Rising Talent Hamza Bokhari and leading retail store Generation are all participating in this unique event. Although Labels once did have a “shop the ramp” activity at Fashion Pakistan Week, that was an exercise that involved pricey, custom-made outfits that required a long time to manufacture and deliver. The Bank Alfalah – Daraz Fashion Week is all about instant gratification and making fashion accessible.
Aimed at bridging the gap between high-fashion and everyday consumer, the Bank Alfalah – Daraz Fashion Week will have top fashion designers launching exclusive collections on the ecommerce platform at incredible price points that are much lower than their normal prices. All the participating designers have produced pret collections in standard sizes (S,M,L, XL) for immediate shipment at price points starting at just Rs3,000. Here’s hoping that the collections manage to hit that sweet spot that combines wearability and trendiness.

The fashion show will be held on April 20th and will be available online immediately. The collections will be available to all of Pakistan from 20 April to 24 April at www.daraz.pk/fashion-show . The initiative hopes to be a game-changer for the fashion industry by giving the fashion fraternity a tried-and-tested online platform and also by promoting accessibility.
Daraz.pk has been pushing the envelope in terms of e-commerce for some time now. Their Black Friday sale earlier in the year was immensely successful. With designers only just realising that massive potential on online sales in Pakistan, this could be the start of a beautiful relationship.
