Weekend vibes have already started to kick in with a number of events ready to take place in the next few days. This week we have two exciting improv comedy events that will be hosted by Improv Jam and LOLWaalay which should not be missed if you’re looking for some laughter therapy over the weekend.

Team Improv Jam will be hosting a comic session “Improv Magar Pyar se” to give your weekend a kickstart!!
‘Improv Jam’ is a fortnightly event produced and curated by Faiza Saleem and Faris Khalid that celebrates improvisational theater in Pakistan.
Shows are hosted by Faris Khalid and features a NEW line-up of performers every time!

2. Bargain Books Bazaar & LitLab Open Mic
From quirky fiction to collector’s finds and historical tomes to children’s books, T2F’s Bargain Books Bazaar has something for everyone. Prices start at Rs. 25. A number of wonderful individuals support us by donating books and magazines. Interested people can bring used or new books that they’d like to donate – everything will be accepted. All proceeds are used to fund T2F’s literary programs.
T2F invites poets, prose writers and written word artists for an open mic session. Participants can share their work by reading it to the audience, including work-in-progress or a published piece by someone else. Each participant will get 9 minutes each to share their work with the audience.

3. Standup Comedy Night by LOLWaalay
After the success of the comedy nights last year, the LOLWaalay are ready to perform the amazing art of standup comedy again, this time featuring four incredibly talented and hilarious comics!
Four comedians will perform their 15 mins long act while a separate performer will be hosting the event.

4. Cupcake Decorating Workshop for Kids
Amato Guilty Confections is arranging a cupcake decorating workshop for Kids where they can learn the art of confection decoration. The workshop includes the following activities:
– Each kid (boys and girls, both allowed!) gets to decorate & take home 8 cupcakes.
– Kids will be working with pre-made (homemade!) marshmallow fondant & homemade cupcakes.
– Little booklets with tried & tested recipes for cupcakes, frostings and marshmallow fondant will be provided for the kids to take home.
Refreshments will also be served!

5. Food Tasting Event by Kitchen Stone
