There are several great exhibitions this week. The ever-popular Blocked Textiles is having their summer exhibition this Saturday – and it’s their only exhibition before Eid so don’t miss it. Mubashira Usman is also having her Eid exhibition this week while Team Zara Shahjahan is in town with a Trunk show that includes limited edition pret tunics and a chance to order bridals and formals. Sanya Muneer is unveiling the latest pret and formal collection and Iffat Shamim is exhibiting her Eid collection. Finally Brands Just Pret is hosting Purple Patch’s fun, ethnic sandals.
Blocked Textiles by Afsheen Numair
The Blocked Summer’16 exhibition will be held on Saturday, the 7th of May in Karachi. They’re back with a brand new, fun collection of of hand block printed, ready to wear and unstitched pieces, created one stamp at a time, with new blocks and patterns. As well as gorgeous summer pret, they’ve got dressier kurtas for Eid and their coveted kids line includes Minecraft kurtas for boys and adorable lenghas, kurtas and ghaghras for your little princesses.

Zara Shahjahan Trunk Show at Ensemble
Team Zara Shahjahan is in Karachi this weekend for a Trunk Show at Ensemble. They’re bringing in a fun, breezy and sporty Pret collection of tunics. The Limited Edition Summer-Chic collection includes minimalist off-shoulder tops, trendy tunics and a host of cool, wearable designs. Sanya Muneer New RTW collection
Sanya Muneer is a well-known name that’s been off the radar for a while but she has a loyal following here in Karachi. Her designs are as elegant as ever, including trendy shorter kurtas and longer ones for the less adventurous, with prices starting at Rs6,000. The range includes some pretty organza wraps and lovely chikankari kurtas. She’s also unveiling her latest formal line.

Mubashira Usman Eid collection
Upcoming designer Mubashira Usman is exhibiting her Eid collection this Saturday. Her new festive collection for Eid features a delicate pastel palette with intricate net and pearl embellishment. The range includes her popular worked jackets and her signature Embroidered Chikan kurtas. She will be taking orders on the new collection through out the day.
