Pakistan’s iconic couturier HSY staged the finale of the 11th edition of PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2018 with the brand’s latest Luxury Prét collection titled “Knight”. With ‘Knight’, HSY paid accolade to the powerful women in his own life and around the world. He celebrates the fact that women are nor increasingly taking charge of the narrative and fighting back to take control by challenging the world around them. As women have raised their voices louder than ever before, they are slowly changing the way the world perceive the strength they have always had. Thus, they are their own knights in shining armour.
The collection featured womenswear pieces draped in all black, sleek silhouettes with delicate ornaments and beadwork in signature HSY style. All motifs and accessories for the collection are locally made by Team HSY using indigenous materials and artisans. The collection also featured a line of tailored menswear, aligned with the all black theme of the collection. Award-winning supermodel Mehreen Syed walked the ramp as the brand’s celebrity showstopper in gorgeous red gown which starkly juxtaposed the rest of the collection.
