It’s an exciting week for movie buffs as there are a couple of new releases to look forward to. Find out what happens once the lights go out when characters Rebecca and Martin come face to face with an unknown supernatural entity in horror flick “Lights Out”. Catch Jared Leto play the infamous character of Joker in the DC Comics based “Suicide Squad” that is by far the most awaited DC flick of the year. Akshay Kumar plays the character of Rustom, a naval officer who ends up fighting for his life in the court in “Rustom”. Witness the world’s first cinematic presentation referencing the ancient Indus Valley Civilization and its greatest city Mohenjo Daro with Hrithik Roshan playing the lead role. You can also take your kids to watch Disney’s “Pete’s Dragon”, an animated film based on the story of an orphaned kid named Pete and his best friend Eliot, who happens to be a dragon.
1. Lights Out
When her little brother, Martin, experiences the same events that once tested her sanity, Rebecca works to unlock the truth behind the terror, which brings her face to face with an entity that has an attachment to their mother, Sophie. A frightening entity with a mysterious attachment to their mother, Sophie, has reemerged. 3. Suicide Squad
Figuring they’re all expendable, a U.S. intelligence officer decides to assemble a team of dangerous, incarcerated super-villains for a top-secret mission. Now armed with government weapons, Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Captain Boomerang, Killer Croc and other despicable inmates must learn to work together. Dubbed Task Force X, the criminals unite to battle a mysterious and powerful entity, while the diabolical Joker (Jared Leto) launches an evil agenda of his own.
4. Mohenjo Daro
Set amid the ancient Indus Valley civilization circa 2016 B.C.E, an indigo farmer from Amri, Sindh[named Sarman (Hrithik Roshan) travels upriver to the largest city, Mohenjo-daro, where during a street mishap he saves the life of a beautiful woman named Chaani (Pooja Hegde) who is bound to serve her city till the end of time. To win Chaani, Sarman must defeat rulers of the city and rouse the people to save their city.
5. Pete’s Dragon
Mr. Meacham (Robert Redford), a woodcarver, delights local children with stories of a mysterious dragon that lives deep in the woods of the Pacific Northwest. His daughter Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard) believes these are just tall tales, until she meets Pete (Oakes Fegley), a 10-year-old orphan who says he lives in the woods with a giant, friendly dragon. With help from a young girl named Natalie (Oona Laurence), Grace sets out to investigate if this fantastic claim can be true.
