Nida Azwer showcased “The Mughal Court” collection in a solo show at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week’s Luxury Prêt segment. This collection draws its inspiration from the scenes in historic Mughal courts. The collection features luxurious fabrics such as silks, muslin, net and organza. The pieces include lehngas, jackets and the atelier’s signature kalidaars. This collection hosts an array of diverse techniques including leather cutwork and embellishments.
The colour palette was rooted in shades of mauve, blue, gray, gold and ivory. Accessories for this collection have been provided by Esfir by Hafsa and Tasbih. For this show, Hafsa and Tasbih designed a bespoke collection of jewelry titled ‘The Gilded Garden’. Another distinctive feature of this show were the celebrity show-stopper. Nida Azwer’s collection featured: Adnan Malik, Aamina Sheikh and Sanam Saeed, the lead cast of upcoming feature film cake as the show-stopper.
