There’s a bunch of exhibitions on this weekend so if you’re looking for pret for winter, head out early this weekend. (With so many pret exhibitions, the rest of this week’s What’s On in Karachi is in a separate post ) Top billing has to go to Nida Azwer whose Winter Pret and Formals exhibition this weekend includes some special one-off pieces. Sanam Chaudri and Maheen Taseer are both at Ensemble this week and worth checking out as always. Another must this weekend is the Grand Serai Bazaar at the Alliance Francaise, which features fashion, home accessories and more, while one of my faves Momina Teli is also exhibiting this Saturday. Lulusar is also showing their latest collection of western wear and Mubashira Usman is showing her Basics collection. There’s also newer designers such as Mahjabeen and Sumera and Maria Lakhany, so there’s plenty of opportunities to update your wardrobe.
Nida Azwer Winter Pret and Formals 2018
This is a rare chance to get first pick at a new collection by such a senior designer. Nida Azwer is one of Pakistan’s true originals, with a unique feminine aesthetic. She’ll be exhibiting her winter pret and formals this Friday and Saturday and the collection includes some special one-off pieces which may be just what you need for wedding season. The Grand Serai Bazaar
This multi-brand pop-up features a host of pret, home accessory and jewellery brands including Humera Tareen, Zeh, Illume Shoes, Ivory, Creo, KA Designs, Riffat Aliana and more. Entrance is Rs 500 and tickets are available at the venue – a portion of the fee will go to the Dar Ul Uloom girls orphanage.

Lulusar is exhibiting their Western Pret and their new Luxe band Morich at The Deli restaurant this Saturday. The online brand is known for their flattering western wear and this is a good opportunity to see their wares in person. It’s also the first chance to see their new luxe range up close.
