Rici Melion made its PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week 2018 ramp debut with ‘Mansiraj’ –Light of the Mind. The collection paid homage to the era of Mughal Architecture, specifically the glorious monument Hiran Minar, its design, patterns and setting a symbolic of noble simplicity yet utter grandeur.
The Wedding Collection ‘Mansiraj’ is uses a variety of handwoven ultra-fine brocades, modernized appliqued cotton silks and velvets. With traditional cuts, the collection features a variety of embellishments complemented to create an exuberant groom ensembles. The outfits are embellished with ganna jamni work paired with slightly modern work to create an ornate three dimensional look. Rici Melion’s collection comprised of groom looks for various wedding occasions along with 1 bridal wear look. Showcased in collaboration with jewelry designer Grace Jewelers, this collection has an enriched color palette with tones of reds, blues, greens, and off whites. The ‘Mansiraj’ collection is conceptualized from the evolutionary patterns of the Mughal era garments. Modern and trendier reimagined Mughal sherwanis were showcased in the collection.
