In her Couture Winter collection 2019, Limitless, Saba Asad unveiled pieces inspired by the strong, independent women of today who are making a difference, are modern and yet possess traditional family values – glamour of the new generation. With signature hand embroidery on pure fabrics, her outfits had crystals, pearls, Swarovski, and fine gota karigari. Embellishments that had expert draping and stitching, Limitless predominantly featured tones of ivory and faded pastels with the occasional, scattered pops of colours in the form of rich maroons and stark black. Shaneira Akram who show stopped for Saba made a fashion statement in an exquisite pastel outfit with sneakers and yoga tights underneath her bridal ensemble – representing the modern-day, 21st century woman who not only needs her outfit to make a statement, but also needs functionality.
