Saira Shakira’s Spring/Summer Collection 2018 ‘Canvas’ was inspired by the paintings of Ian Davenport, an English, abstract painter. This upbeat collection takes inspiration from modern, contemporary art and features a vibrant colour palette including: hot pink, electric yellow, ink blue and orange juxtaposed by the use of monochrome.
The silhouettes featured dramatic shoulders and sleeves, nipped waists cinched with wide belts, contemporary prints and wide legged pants. Experimenting with pops of colour, Saira Shakira alludes to a sense of dichotomy with structured draped tops with loose pants.
