This Sunday Sana Hashwani and Safinaz Muneer, the dynamic duo behing Sana Safinaz, hosted a glam lunch at Cote Rotie, the trendy new bistro at the Alliance Francaise. The lunch for their “FavourIT Girls” celebrated the launch of the Sana Safinaz 2016 Lawn collection and was a great opportunity to see this year’s lawn collection up close.

Sana Safinaz’ “FavorIT Girls” include socialites, professionals, bloggers, journalists and celebrities. They chose to wear the duo’s popular lawn in a variety of styles, ranging from the conventional to the avant-garde.

It was great to see the outfits up close because they’re actually better than last year’s collection. Personally I’m not a fan of this year’s campaign though. I found the catalogue somewhat dull so I was pleasantly surprised that the actual collection is full of interesting elements. I particularly loved the burnt-out fabric of designs 15A and 15B and the tribal dupatta of 3A.
