Karachites get a chance to view MAHGUL’s Fall/Winter 2016 Bridal Collection hot off the ramp this Friday.  MAHGUL’s debut collection ‘The Trunks of Sabine’ is the tale of Sabine, whose journeys across the subcontinent, bring her to meet various artisans and craftsmen. As always, representing progressive fashion, MAHGUL concentrates on modern silhouettes and bespoke prints and textures.  Adopting a sophisticated monochromatic palette,  the clothes are fit every contemporary woman, for generations to come.

Bandooq Girao-Kitaab Uthao! 

Come join in this dynamic session focused on a nation-wide-de-weaponisation programme. Citizens Against Weapons (CAW) is a citizens group working for a peaceful and weapon-free society in Pakistan. Motivated by the belief that a citizens  protection of life and  liberty is the responsibility of the state, and not of armed militia.  The Session will be run by three prominent personalities, Rumana Husain, Dr. Seemin Jamali, and Naeem Sadiq.

An Art Exhibition, Curated by Adnan Madani, explores the relationship between Pakistani Cinema and Visual Art. Rather than a historical survey, issues of enjoyment, fandom, class and critical distance are seen through the prism and cinema and its imagery.
