Ambient Yin Yoga by Alina

Active learning has been robustly shown to produce better student learning outcomes. In his talk, Dr. Darryl Yong will explore the connection between active learning and flipped classroom instruction (the latter involving having students watch video lectures outside of class and participate in learning activities in class), share research findings from a four-year controlled study on flipped classroom instruction that he conducted with other Harvery Mudd faculty, and focus on the goal of having more equitable learning outcomes for students. For their first Qavvaali Mahfil of 2019, T2F is proud to present Qavvaal Ali Akbar Razi, the youngest son of the legendary musician and scholar Ustad Munshi Raziuddin Qavvaal, belonging to the original household of Qavvaali – the “Qavvaal Bacchon ka Gharaana”.
Ali Akbar Razi received his early training in music from his illustrious father, and has toured extensively, first with his father and later with his celebrated brothers, Farid Ayaz and Abu Muhammad Raziuddin. Ali Akbar Razi has also released his debut album of Sufi Ghazal by the name of Teri Yaad and introduced new compositions into his traditional Qavvaali heritage.
