Support Group for Women: Separated and Divorced Women

This month, British Council Library is bringing you a peer-led support group for women who’re separated or divorced.

Divorce is a very difficult and overwhelming life event. Going through a divorce or a separation can be hurtful and scary, but the added element of shame can make one feel rejected, isolated and marginalised.

Divorce takes courage – it is not a failure.

Join them to help build a strong community that stops putting blame on those who must separate or divorce. Meet women with similar circumstances as we talk about standing up against society’s pressures and how to cope with the emotional roller coaster of a broken marriage.

This session is for women only, ages 18 and above.

Registration fee per participant (payable at the door): PKR 400 for non-members and PKR 200 for members.
