This is always a busy season – not least because wedding season is already in full swing and exam season is about to begin for the bachas – but if you can find time, there’s a lot happening around town.
If you’re suddenly finding yourself short of outfits for the festive season (who isn’t?!), there’s several exhibitions happening this week. Top of my list is the Tehreek e Falah exhibition that sells outfits embroidered by ladies living in a katchi abadi. ALL the profits go to these ladies but not only is for a good cause, the clothes are beautiful and good value for money. House of K is also having a multi brand exhibition over the weekend while there’s also a couple of solo exhibitions. Meanwhile Comedy Masala is back, the Crafter’s Expo is happening on Saturday and there’s a bunch of interesting events at T2F. Do follow us on Insta @karachista1 for glimpses of what’s on around town and send us your pics for a feature!

Comedy Masala International
The popular International Stand-Up Comedy Show is back with its last show in 2018:
“We’re back with a brand-new line up, and we’ve literally saved the best for last. This line up is magically good and hysterical. We’ve got none other than KYLE GROOMS as the main act – Kyle’s been featured on P.DIDDY’S BAD BOYS OF COMEDY and was also an Actor & Writer for DAVE CHAPPELLE! Kyle is simply brilliant. Supporting Kyle is New York comedy club regular ROB RYAN, who in the past year appeared on TV show “Gotham Comedy Live”. Rob headlined Comedy Masala in Singapore this past September and was awesome! Now he’s gonna do it again in Karachi. Rounding up the opening acts is hugely talented GABRIEL RUTLEDGE – winner of BOTH the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Competition and The Laughing Skull Comedy Festival Atlanta. Gabriel’s TV appearances include Comedy Central and ‘Laughs on Fox’.
