Women’s Football Documentary and Narrative at T2F

Karachi United FC – Women’s Squad and The Second Floor (T2F) bring to you stories of women’s football and how investing in women’s sport has changed the lives of so many girls across the globe.From Zanzibar, the New Generation Queens and Karachi’s own Karachi United Women’s Squad are proud to share their respective journeys and walk you through the struggles, the joy, and the importance of women’s football.Kick off your weekend with an insightful documentary by Megan Shutzer and an inspirational narrative by Mashal Hussain at The Second Floor Cafe.

KU Women are also hosting a shoe-drive at T2F during the event. They’re looking for any type of football shoes (indoor, turf, or studs) or even regular athletic footwear (sneakers or runners) that they can donate to The Karachi United Football Foundation. The later, aware of her power over her, misuses it. Fascinated as she is by her, Charlie does not understand the change in Sarah’s attitude and takes it lying down. She thinks that their friendship will prevail over everything else. Her friends are unable to understand why she lets herself be manipulated. They are all the more worried because Charlie has anxiety attacks during which she cannot breathe.

Dramatic reading of Bhayanak Admi at T2F

bhayanak admiIbne Safi is widely known for his immensely popular best selling series of spy novels, Jasoosi Duniya and Imran Series. Born in 1928 in Allahbad India, Ibne Safi began writing the Imran Series in Pakistan in 1955. Popular for their enthralling plots and enigmatic characters, these novels of mystery and suspense held an entire generation captivated for years.

The Imran Series features the sharp detective, Ali Imran, (later known in the series as X2), who mastered the art of disguise and possessed the ability to dodge bullets. In everyday life Imran is seen as a flippant and naïve individual, whose acts of buffoonery deflect his rivals. Behind this guise his mind continues to tick as he solves case after case and overwhelms his adversaries.

In Bhayaanak Aadmi, we meet the young and beautiful Anglo-Indian Burmese Roshi, who works in a hotel in a dubious neighbourhood, notorious for its unsolved murders and its reputation for being under the grip of a “terrifying man”. She encounters a handsome young man, conspicuous for his absurd antics and soon finds herself enmeshed in a series of intriguing events. Who is this young man? Can she trust him? Or does he belong to the gang of the “terrifying man”?

All is Well

All Is Well stars Abhishek Bachchan as a son who gets troubled watching his parents fight. He has to balance his love for his parents and his personal life while the dysfunctional family is on the run from a set of goons. With Asin, Rishi Kapoor and Asin, the film looks promising.


Mission Impossible 5

Dekh Magar Pyar Se

A romantic comedy sDekh Magar Pyar Setarring Sikander Rizvi and Humaima Malick, directed by Asad ul Haq. With engaging stars, a catchy sound track, gorgeous costumes and cinematography DMPS has proved to be something of a disappointment, with poor reviews and falling screenings.




Shah, rapidly becoming a word-of-mouth hit, is a sports biopic based on the life of boxer Hussain Shah who wShah the movieon the bronze medal at 1988 Summer Olympics and became the only boxer in Pakistan’s history to secure an Olympic medal in boxing. Directed and written by Adnan Sarwar, the film is produced under banner Logos Film. The film’s star Adnan Sarwar underwent a year boxing training programme to portray the role of Hussain Shah in the film. The cast also features Kiran Chaudhary, Sardar Baloch, Adeel Raees and Gulab Chandio.[2]


Moor movieMoor

“MOOR” (Mother), follows the tragic story a family pulled apart through corruption and circumstances out of their control. Starring Hameed Sheikh, Samiya Mumtaz, Shaz Khan and directed by Jamshed Mahmood (Jami), the film has be acclaimed by critics.



Brothers-TrailerBrothers is an Indian action-drama film in which two estranged, street-fighting brothers (Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra) square off against each other in a mixed martial arts tournament. The film is an official remake of the 2011 Hollywood film Warrior.[6] It stars Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez in leading roles, while Jackie Shroff and Shefali Shah play the supporting roles.

Karachi Se Lahore

Fantastic Four

Bajrangi Bhaijan

Salman Khan plays a IndiBajrangi_Bhaijaan_Posteran man with a magnanimous spirit who helps a mute girl from Pakistan return home. The film also stars Karisma Kapoor in a small role but it’s Harshaali Malhotra as mute Munni (Shahida) who steals the show.

Mahira Khan has always been in love with her cousin Irtiza (Humayun Saeed) but when he falls in love with her long-lost sister Saman (Armeena Khan), she struggles to control her jealousy and despair.

Wrong No.

The story revolves around Sallu (Danish Taimoor) who hopes to make it big in the business of showbiz someday. However his plans have to face the wrath of his father Hajji Abba (Javed Sheikh) who wants his son to either join the other men of the family and be a butcher or get some government job. Laila (Sohai Ali Abro) is the girl next door, who has a thing for Sallu but Sallu is not interested in her and wants to focus on his career. While Sallu and his story is set in Karachi there is another track in Lahore featuring Haya (Janita Asma) who flies to Karachi to receive Shehryar (Danish Taimoor) who is all set to succeed his grandfather and run the company Haya works at. Then the story gets a bit twisted and the Wrong Number-ness kicks in.
