This week Miassa launches its latest collection of footwear, comprising of a trendy line of flats and wedges. The T2F hosts two interesting sessions an initiative on ‘The Art Spa’ which explores a different side of creativity on how art can be a source of stress management and a session on women’s progress in Pakistan in the past 70 years. There is also the launch of VASL’s ‘Conversations of contemporary Pakistani artists’ bringing forth the work of many emerging artists.

Miaasa would like to invite you to the launch of its latest collection of footwear. Expect a mix of trendy, versatile and electic flats alongside our signature line of wedges.

The Art Spa with Marium Kamal
Creative expression has been used for relaxation throughout history. Keeping that in mind, this workshop is designed to simply help you unwind and experience art in a completely different way. It is a way of connecting your emotions with colours instead of words. A great way to get to know yourself and relax after a stressful day in the city. This will also help you examine who you are and how you see the world while taking a look inside your mind.

70 years Later, Where are Women at?
Amar Sindhu is an activist, feminist, writer, poet and a well known columnist of Sindhi language. She is constantly writing columns for leading Sindhi newspapers since the past 15 years. She also has been writing urdu blogs and literary profiles for Dawn. Most of her articles are about the marginalized sections of the society (women, movements’ peasants and minorities). She has been actively involved in social and political missions and is known to have a bold and courageous voice amongst Sindhi women. She remained an editor of Marxist Magazine in Sindhi for three years and is also a co- founder of the first Sindhi Feminist Publication.

Publication Launch with Vasl Artists’ Association
Join us for the launch of Vasl’s publication series ‘Conversations with Contemporary Pakistani Artists’. These series of publications are one of Vasl’s many initiatives to bring forth and document emerging artists and their dialogues with society in their critical practices.
