While summer doesn’t seem to be making any sign of bidding goodbye to Karachi, designers are gearing up for the upcoming Autumn/ Winter season. For everyday wear that is chic and reasonably priced, head to Hina Mirza’s Autumn/Winter 2017 Collection. For those scouting for heavier outfits, then check out Mahgul and Outhouse jewellery, hot off the ramps of PLBW 2017 and Zara Shahjahan’s bridal trunk show. This weekend, Adorn will be also be holding an open house launching their new collection of clothes and household linen. The Karachi Biennale
KB17 is Pakistan’s largest international contemporary art event that will take place every two years in Karachi. This October, over 140 artists from Pakistan and across the globe will respond to a common theme: WITNESS. Events include art installations, readings, tours by the Super Savari Express, talks and performative works.

Meet the artists and activists who are transforming their communities, working against all odds.
Look but with Love is Pakistan’s first virtual reality documentary series about the extraordinary people of Pakistan who are changing the socio-political landscape of their communities through causes they are deeply passionate about.
From a doctor in the slums of Karachi who has dedicated his life to providing free emergency care to children, to the Elite Commandos, a courageous community of women in Nowshera–the epicentre of the terrorist insurgency– Look but with Love explores the lives of Pakistan’s most fearless and passionate citizens.

Qavvali Mahfil Series : Taj and Shaad Niazi
Hailing from the Atrauli Gharana, Taj and Shaad Mohammed Niazi are amongst the finest contemporary practitioners of Hazrat Amir Khusrau’s kalaam and that of other poets. The progeny of Moin Niazi, and recipient of the Pride of Performance award, the troupe has performed widely across the subcontinent, from Pakpattan to Dhaka.
