With Conceptuellè, Zaheer Abbas’s collection puts a strong yet simple, dynamic emphasis on colour, cut, construction and contrast in cotton. Using bright block colours like vibrant reds, mustards, rusts contrasted with dreamy blues and cool greys for his colour palette, the pieces were further elevated by employment of fine couture level construction with hand pleated textures along with signature 3D draping silhouettes; all without a trace of embellishment or print – creating a fine mix of romanticism and contemporary aesthetic.
